Kitchen/Mudroom

Kitchen before..

Ok so we are not done yet! Yes it's been almost a year and our kitchen is not complete... but here is a pic of what is done so far...
I got this solid teak buffet table on craigslist for$175! sanded it down, re-sanded it,stained it and put a piece of butcher block from home depot on the top for countertop. Kitchen islands are really expenisve..not mine! It only cost me $215 :)

Our newest project.. the closet

Ok.. so this is our closet which had no door, was divided into 3 seperate closets.. we cut out all the walls and made it a big walk in closet. We also added a nice glass panel door,it's not finished yet..stay tuned for the after pics!

Slider gone, door way opened up..

TA-DA!

We took the double door slider out , opened up the doorway and took that ugly vinyl flooring out. Refinished the wood floors, painted all trim with an antique white and walls a nice brownish timber color. Furnished with a table i got at an antique store and my nana's hutch and dry sink. Chairs from home goods, to mix old with new !

Living room before and after

Some things we did to this room to make it updated . I pulled off the old wood paneling, ripped up the carpet ,painted all the trim white.  My fiance put down a beautiful wide pine board floor with the old square nails. I got the pine off craigslist for 600 bucks!! Pine is cheap and dents easily but luckily i love that look :)  worn and vintage is my style ..so here we go ill show you room to room
